I wonder if that means new macs are in the works? The iMac is just a few month’s old. But it’s been some time for new portables, such as the MacBook and MacBook Pro. . 

The last refresh of the MacBook lineup was back in Feb ‘08, so we’re due. At very least a speed bump should be in the works. But, if really all your computing needs are met with the include apple software such as safari, mail, iCal, etc. Any of the MacBooks would be fine. Today. No sense in waiting. And a free iPod Touch is quite the nice incentive.
