About 12 years back, ramseeker.com started out as www.macseek.com. It was a feeble attempt at www.macsurfer.com -  but they do it much better at summarizing the news -  so now what? I don’t think www.macseek.com lasted a few weeks as a news summary site. It’s a lot of work. Back in ‘98, there weren’t news feeds and the like..content was actually created.ÂÂ
Well, one thing to do would be to look for deals, but what kindof deals? dealmac’s been done, and they do deals better than anybody else for the Mac - that’s taken.  So what next?ÂÂ
Well, as an Apple fan, I used to visit www.macresource.com, which posted the highs and lows and median prices of memory and ram, but they didn’t post any pricing. Well, I thought that was really a big waste of effort. It’s like having an ad in the newspaper and stating your product, but no price.ÂÂ
So. ramseeker.com was born. At first, ramseeker didn’t have it’s own domain name, but that was confusing. Ramseeker, at macseek.com didn’t exactly sound right, so www.ramseeker.com was registered as the primary domain name.ÂÂ
And over the years, I’ve acquired quite a few other domains names, which all lead to www.ramseeker.com.ÂÂ

So there you go.  Many great names to choose. Same great taste.
