There was an update to the MacBook line today (11/1). New features include Intel Core 2 Duo processors at 2.0GHz or 2.2GHz, an 800MHz frontside bus, Intel Graphics Media Accelerator X3100 graphics, 4MB of shared L2 cache, support for up to 4GB of main memory, and a larger 250GB CTO hard drive option. MacBook is now lighter (5.0 lbs) with a new keyboard layout, and it supports one high-powered USB port.I have added 2gb modules for the new MacBooks from Other World Computing and RAMJET. This started on a whim. I love to shop. I love Apple stuff. it just works. How people can work on a windows box all day is beyond me. (readers of our PC side, I’ll apologize now).

Anyway, we’ve been doing this for 10 years now. When I started this, it was because at the time, Apple had released I think the PowerMac G3 Beige (not sure what model) and nobody on the mac web could find Large (256mb, I think) memory for it.
I found some. And made a up a table of all 3 vendors at the time that had them in stock.
I then added pricing for other apple models, and there ya go - we’re off
No business plan. No big money. Just a desire to help out other Apple users (and now, PC too).
I’m looking forward to the next ten years.
